When to use:
Primary cardiac aetiology out of hospital cardiac arrest after arrival to a centre.

About:

• The MIRACLE₂ score enables early classification of patients admitted to hospital with a successfully resuscitated cardiac arrest
• It incorporates seven variables, that predict poor neurological outcome at 6 months with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.84-0.91
• Early and accurate classification of patients may be used to guide treatment decisions and early escalation of therapy
